Where the System Sees Nothing (2025)
Installation, 2025
Where the System Sees Nothing imagines a speculative plant species that exists beyond the limits of human classification. Generated from plant debris, digital traces, and other fragments collected in Bangkok's Benjakitti Park, the work uses machine learning algorithms to produce forms that resist identification. Neither entirely natural nor artificial, these hybrid organisms expose the limitations of scientific taxonomies and data-driven systems that define what can be recognized and what remains invisible. By imagining life that refuses existing categories, the work invites viewers to consider forms of existence that exceed human perception and computational logic.
